Which tracker plan actually fits your traffic
If you buy Meta or Google clicks, you need the cheapest plan that covers your monthly volume. A headline price is useful only after you convert clicks into the unit the vendor charges for. Enter your monthly numbers in the fields. The result is an estimate that leaves overage fees out and does not connect to a live account.
The result for each plan appears here after you enter those numbers.
How a click becomes each vendor's unit
ClickMagick bills by tracked visitors, so the click count is a stand-in for visitors. The allowance is on the ClickMagick pricing page. Starter is out of reach if you connect more accounts than its limit.
RedTrack's monthly events equal clicks multiplied by events per click, then rounded. Its pricing page says an event is a click or a conversion. Solo is no longer enough once total events or the number of accounts goes over its limit. This estimate covers affiliate Solo only.
Voluum uses that same event total when the funnel is mostly clicks and conversions. Voluum's documentation counts a visit, a click and a conversion each as one event, and it counts 10 impressions as one event. Add impression traffic to the total yourself before you rely on the Profit result. Profit no longer fits once live campaigns exceed the limit on the Voluum pricing page. Those Profit details do not list an account limit, so the number of accounts will not rule that plan out.
ElasticFunnels is the funnel option in this set. Its pricing page counts a page view as one load of a page it hosts. This estimate uses one load for each ad click. A second hosted page loaded from that click counts as another view, so a landing page plus a checkout can exceed the allowance. Bot and datacenter traffic is already excluded.
Two worked months
Take 8,000 ad clicks, 1.25 events per click, 6 active campaigns, and 1 ad account. That comes to about 10,000 events. RedTrack Solo and Voluum Profit still have room for that event volume. Those 6 campaigns fall within Profit's campaign limit. One ad account falls within the limits for both ClickMagick Starter and RedTrack Solo. Using 8,000 clicks as a proxy for visitors keeps you within Starter's limit of 10,000 tracked visitors. One hosted load per click stays inside the ElasticFunnels page-view allowance.
At 12,000 clicks and 1 event per click, the visitor estimate exceeds Starter's limit. Solo and Profit can still cover that event total.
Entry allowances, prices and trials
Rows run from A to Z. The roundup uses a different order.
| Tool | Meter | Allowance | Price | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ClickMagick | Tracked visitors | 10,000 visitors, 1 ad account per ad platform | $79/momonthly billing | 14-day trial |
| ElasticFunnels | Hosted page views | 50,000 page views | $97/mobilled monthly | 14-day trial, no credit card |
| RedTrack | Events | 5 million events, 5 ad accounts per ad platform | $141/moannual billing, or $169/mo monthly | 14-day trial |
| Voluum | Events | 1,000,000 events, 20 active campaigns | $119/mobilled annually | 14-day preview, no payment details |
Cheap affiliate tracking software
Cheap affiliate tracking software, here, means the lowest starting price among the plans that still fit what you entered. ClickMagick has the lowest tracker price in the table. That pricing page also lists $66 a month when billed annually at $790. RedTrack Solo costs more and includes a much larger event allowance, along with more ad accounts.
My take
I would start with the cheapest tracker the form marks as a fit. I would skip a cheaper plan once your monthly volume exceeds its allowance. I would use the ElasticFunnels row only when the landing page is hosted there.
Free trial of affiliate tracking software
Every plan here includes one, and each trial lasts the same number of days. The trial column shows that Voluum and ElasticFunnels do not ask for payment details up front. ClickMagick and RedTrack only publish how long the trial lasts. Voluum says that on its homepage. The pricing reviews below cover the rest of the trial details: the ClickMagick pricing breakdown, the RedTrack Solo invoice details, the Voluum Profit limits, and the ElasticFunnels Starter limits.
When you host the page
ElasticFunnels is a funnel platform for paid traffic. It builds the pages, split-tests them under one URL, and records the checkout on the same timeline as the sale. Starter counts page loads on the pages it hosts. Use that row when the landing page is hosted there. A click to a page hosted elsewhere should be checked against the tracker plans.
It is newer than the platforms it competes with, and there is very little independent third-party review coverage to check its claims against. Until you run real volume through it, you are largely taking the vendor's word for it. It has been around since 2023.
Past the allowance
Once you pass the allowance, RedTrack keeps tracking and bills extra events at $0.04 per 1,000. Voluum Profit bills $0.06 per 1,000 events over its quota. ClickMagick's Starter plan details do not specify an overage rate, and they do not say if you are moved up a tier automatically. That policy is on the ClickMagick pricing page. This estimate only says whether a plan fits or is over the limit. It does not calculate an overage charge.
